Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in avionics or safety-critical embedded software development.
- Strong programming expertise in C and Python, with hands-on experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
- Solid understanding of DO-178C standards and verification processes for aerospace software.
- Experience with structural coverage analysis, unit testing, and software validation methodologies.
- Familiarity with embedded systems design, software architecture, and system-level engineering concepts.
- Experience using Agile methodologies and tools such as DOORS, JAMA, SVN, and JIRA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in technical environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance avionics software using C, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink for safety-critical embedded systems.
- Lead full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as DO-178C, including verification, validation, and structural coverage analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, hardware, UX, and product teams to define and deliver solutions.
- Support embedded systems design, software architecture decisions, and system-level integration activities.
- Participate in unit testing, test automation, and debugging of complex avionics software components.
- Use configuration management and lifecycle tools such as DOORS, JIRA, SVN, and JAMA to manage development workflows.
- Identify technical challenges and contribute to scalable, high-quality engineering solutions and process improvements.
