Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS preferred), including cluster lifecycle, node group operations, RBAC, and networking.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, including module design, state management, and large-scale refactoring.
- Solid AWS knowledge (EKS, IAM, VPC networking, Route53, CloudFront).
- Hands-on experience with production observability tools (Datadog) and incident management (PagerDuty).
- Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, KMS).
- Proven track record of leading technical architecture, authoring design documents, and driving consensus.
- Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team technical standards.
- Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
- Ability to commit to on-call shifts.
Responsibilities
- Shape the technical direction of the company's Kubernetes-based platform.
- Drive major infrastructure initiatives to scale and improve performance.
- Multiply the effectiveness of the engineering team through technical mentorship.
- Own the technical strategy and delivery for EKS cluster lifecycle, GitOps pipelines, and observability.
- Manage multi-region AWS networking and infrastructure-as-code deployments.
- Collaborate with Data Platform and application engineering teams.
- Participate in on-call shifts to ensure system availability and incident response.
