Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience, with 4+ years in SRE/CRE/production engineering.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Helm, Terraform, or Jsonnet.
- Strong technical leadership experience, including mentoring and leading projects.
- Experience operating multi-tenant systems in production.
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience with Linux operating system internals, cloud storage, and scaling.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident response skills.
- Ability to reason about performance, scaling, and failure modes.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with product engineering squads to ensure system reliability.
- Own production reliability for high-SLA and complex customer environments.
- Design and implement automation to scale reliability practices and eliminate toil.
- Define, evolve, and ensure compliance with per-tenant SLOs.
- Serve as a primary escalation point and provide on-call support for critical incidents.
- Lead customer-impacting incident responses and conduct post-incident reviews.
- Contribute to design documentation and perform code reviews.
- Influence feature design to ensure production scalability and operability.
