Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in a cloud infrastructure or platform engineering role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, managed services).
- Proven Terraform experience including state management and modular design.
- Experience deploying and managing production Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Strong incident response and triage experience under pressure.
- Self-directed work style with ability to prioritize independently.
- Customer-obsessed approach to reliability and platform support.
- Strong written and spoken English for asynchronous communication and documentation.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain cloud infrastructure underpinning live trading systems.
- Respond to and diagnose platform incidents, triage issues, and communicate resolutions.
- Drive automation and process improvements through Python scripting.
- Design, deploy, and operate cloud environments using Terraform.
- Manage containerized workloads within production Kubernetes clusters.
- Provide infrastructure support to distributed engineering teams across time zones.
- Collaborate with the UK and Dubai platform teams on reliability and tooling.
