Requirements
- Substantial full-stack professional experience with independent ownership of features.
- Strong front-end expertise with React and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Backend proficiency in Python (or ability to become productive quickly).
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with REST or GraphQL API design.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (GCP preferred).
- Fluent use of AI coding assistants in real production work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for async collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from API design through to UI.
- Lead front-end architecture decisions regarding component patterns, state management, and performance.
- Champion a strong testing culture by choosing tooling and establishing rigorous patterns.
- Maintain and build scalable Python APIs while collaborating on data modeling and GCP infrastructure.
- Use AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini daily for development tasks.
- Participate in a low-volume, third-level on-call rotation.
- Mentor teammates through code review, pairing, and documentation.
