Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
- Solid product thinking
- Advanced Python capability and Django proficiency
- Confident working knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS
- Practical background integrating REST endpoints and webhooks
- Experience parsing inconsistent production data in formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
- Direct exposure to Google Cloud Platform, or transferable depth in AWS or Azure
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot
- Advanced spoken and written English
Responsibilities
- Extend and refine the Django-based Python backend through new API endpoint development, data model changes, background job processing, and performance tuning
- Build and maintain the APIs that power the Passport Builder product
- Deliver user-facing functionality written in TypeScript and React within the Passport Builder and administrative tools
- Take responsibility for uptime and monitoring on GCP infrastructure, spotting anomalies ahead of customer-reported incidents
- Contribute to technical direction and shape architectural choices
- Architect and implement data pipelines that move ERP, PLM, and PIM records from client systems into the platform
