Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering-focused role.
- 1+ year of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also welcome).
- 2+ years of Python coding skills.
- 2+ years of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases.
- Understanding of DWH data modeling and ETL/ELT development.
- General awareness of cloud architecture, networking, and security concepts.
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark is preferred.
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow for orchestration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and launch data pipelines and data models in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and communicate solutions.
- Implement best practices in data integrity, quality checks, testing, documentation, and data lineage.
- Optimize existing analytical solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Contribute to cloud architecture design and standards regarding security, governance, and scalability.
- Work with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and production-ready processes.
- Support integrations across BI, ML, and DevOps teams.
