Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or 4+ years of directly related experience in lieu of degree.
- 4+ years of experience in the health services industry with direct involvement in medical licenses, hospital privileging, or working in a Medical Staff Office/Verification services.
- Thorough knowledge of the complete clinician credentialing process, including risk assessments, state licensure, primary source verifications, and payer enrollment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong analytical skills for data validation and ad hoc analysis.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited direction.
- Service-oriented mindset with a desire to support team success.
- Intellectually curious with a focus on continuous learning and subject matter expertise.
- Resourceful in utilizing available information and tools to solve problems.
- Persistent and capable of overcoming obstacles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Practice Managers and Staffing Account Managers to support clinician credentialing workflows.
- Provide Tier 1 technical troubleshooting for the clinician credentialing platform and features.
- Perform monthly credentialing file audits to ensure controls and compliance guidelines are met.
- Use data and analytics to support practice leaders in decision-making.
- Support new program credentialing and provide onboarding for new Practice Managers.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with practice leaders to ensure compliance and avoid start-date delays.
- Serve as a peer mentor and coach to Practice Managers and central Credentialing team members through training sessions.
