Requirements
- Background in software engineering.
- Confidence in JSON and Java or Javascript.
- Understanding of the basics of good experimental design.
- Knowledge of statistical significance and common types of statistical bias.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Passionate about growth, metrics, and user experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related technical major is ideal.
- Experience designing and running AB or RCT trials.
- Interest in behavioral science is a bonus.
- Background or interest in ML and data science is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Support the entire experimentation processes of the Growth team.
- Code, analyze, and work in every facet of the Growth workstreams.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team and the Data Science team.
- Peer-review Growth code and assist in code review for Growth experiments.
- Assist with experiment launches on Google Firebase.
- Debug code and work closely with the product development team.
- Assist in QAing new features prior to releases.
- Peer-review experiment analysis.
- Own the translation of winning experiments into other languages and across platforms.
