Requirements
- 6+ years of professional development experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding systems 'under the hood'.
- Current experience with TypeScript development.
- Ability to align working schedule to US Eastern business hours during the first two months of onboarding.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain non-trivial systems and algorithms.
- Curiosity and a strong desire to learn new technologies and business domains.
- Humility and willingness to ask questions for clarification.
- Exposure to backend Java (ability to read code) is preferred.
- Experience developing with OpenFin, Electron, or similar desktop runtimes is preferred.
- Financial market domain experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript within the OpenFin framework.
- Write well-structured code to ensure high performance and reliability of financial applications.
- Interface with backend systems using REST APIs and data streaming.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for system scalability and maintainability.
- Read backend Java code to support cross-functional collaboration.
