Requirements
- Expertise in editorial mechanics, grammar, and style guides (Chicago/AP).
- Proven experience editing technical content for accuracy, clarity, and concision in cybersecurity or technical fields.
- Ability to partner with subject matter experts to shape narrative content.
- Proactive ability to monitor industry news, tool releases, and technical roadmaps for story opportunities.
- Professional writing ability with a portfolio covering both deeply technical and business audiences.
- Experience working in a technical B2B content marketing environment.
- Proficiency with developer-adjacent workflows including GitHub, Hugo, Slack, and Markdown.
- Experience using or building AI-assisted editing tools (e.g., Claude).
- Capacity to operate independently with minimal direction and defend editorial choices.
Responsibilities
- Edit security reports across domains including application security, blockchain, cryptography, and AI/ML.
- Develop, edit, and publish blog posts, case studies, social threads, and newsletter content.
- Manage publication through GitHub pull requests and coordinate with internal/external reviewers.
- Build and improve AI-powered tools for content creation and automated style enforcement.
- Collaborate with engineering directors to extract and translate technical work into published content.
- Own the content calendar and make editorial decisions on publishing cadences.
- Lead document design for proposals, SOWs, case studies, and presentation materials.
