Requirements
- IT degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as an IT Tester in complex environments.
- Direct experience testing Life Assurance products or working within a Life / Financial Services company.
- Strong, proven experience in API testing.
- Recent and demonstrable experience testing Azure platform solutions.
- Experience with GPT prompt testing and system integrations.
- Expert understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, databases and test environments.
- Experience with test automation, integration testing, UAT and regression testing.
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile environments close to business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently under the direction of a QA Lead.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and execute test cases for API, integration, UAT and regression testing.
- Test system integrations across complex environments.
- Perform API testing using industry-standard tools, frameworks and techniques.
- Test Azure platform-based solutions.
- Support testing of GPT prompts and related system integrations.
- Work with SQL and databases to prepare, validate and analyse test data.
- Create and maintain testing standards for API and automated UI test cases.
- Collaborate closely with QA Lead, technical teams and business stakeholders.
