Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted medical license and active board certification in Family Medicine.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency.
- Active medical licenses in at least one of CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses.
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states preferred.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays.
- Understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements for physician collaboration/supervision.
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms, EMR systems, and AI-driven clinical tools.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
- Telehealth experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dedicate at least 36 patient contact hours per week to providing high-quality, empathetic treatment via text, phone, and video.
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions, including preventive care and health education.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs, manage prescriptions, referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Document patient encounters and communications accurately in the EMR system.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, including oversight, chart review, and mentorship.
- Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives while meeting performance and productivity benchmarks.
