Requirements
- Experience in a client-facing delivery role.
- Prior people management experience with annotation, data operations, or similar teams.
- Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
- Ability to meet during US business hours.
- Track record of spotting and solving problems independently.
- Comfortable delivering direct, honest updates to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage scope, timelines, and dependencies.
- Experience in designing quality workflows and audits.
- Additional language proficiency preferred.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage a team of multimodal annotators and reviewers: set expectations, coach performance, conduct 1:1s, and make staffing decisions.
- Lead onboarding and structured ramp plans for new hires; own assessments and ongoing development.
- Hold the team accountable to throughput, error rates, and rework targets.
- Own the client relationship day-to-day: prepare agendas, run calls, and send notes with clearly assigned action items.
- Communicate proactively to surface risks, blockers, and issues to stakeholders.
- Manage scope, timelines, and dependencies across active workstreams simultaneously.
- Design and run quality workflows, including sampling plans, second-pass reviews, and audits.
- Maintain annotation guidelines and contribute design requirements to improve annotation tooling.
