Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting data migration, conversion, and integration for complex IT systems within the last 10 years.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in authoring and monitoring data pipelines within the last 10 years.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing and enforcement modules within the last 10 years.
- Minimum experience supporting system consolidations or legacy-to-modern platform transitions within the last 10 years.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree (master's or PhD) in computer science, engineering, information systems, math, or technology-related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Current data management or architecture certification (cannot be substituted with experience).
- Ability to provide client/user end reference contact information for qualifying projects.
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and critique current data policies, practices, and procedures.
- Engage key stakeholders to understand data sources and requirements.
- Establish procedures for data requirements, risk assessment, and feasibility.
- Develop plans for data flow, data quality maintenance, and system synchronicity.
- Execute preparation tasks for data conversion and migration to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with business and technical staff on data profiling and cleansing.
- Document and assess the as-is data environment.
- Build a repository of data sources, flows, owners, and users.
- Administer mapping of all data sources and recommend appropriate technologies.
