Requirements

  • Hold a BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field.
  • Demonstrate professional experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
  • Possess deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements like EPA, REACH, and FDA.
  • Show analytical precision in identifying errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
  • Ability to explain complex reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.
  • Possess a PayPal account to receive payments.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated chemistry responses for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logical reasoning.
  • Fact-check chemical reactions, balance equations, and verify the viability and safety of synthetic routes.
  • Audit technical documentation including lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations like NMR, IR, and Mass Spec.
  • Annotate molecular data including SMILES strings, 2D/3D representations, and property predictions.
  • Perform safety monitoring to ensure AI outputs do not provide instructions for hazardous or illicit substance synthesis.
