Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field
- Professional experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction
- Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms
- Thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA)
- Ability to identify errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations
- Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language
- Ability to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work
- Possession of a PayPal account for payment processing
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated chemistry responses for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logical reasoning
- Validate chemical reactions, balance equations, and ensure synthetic routes are viable and safe
- Audit model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations like NMR, IR, and Mass Spec
- Annotate molecular data including SMILES strings and 2D/3D molecular representations
- Monitor safety to ensure AI outputs do not provide instructions for hazardous or restricted substance synthesis
