Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field.
- Professional experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
- Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
- Thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements including EPA, REACH, and FDA.
- Ability to identify errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
- Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.
- Capacity to complete paid tasks requiring one hour of uninterrupted work.
- Active PayPal account for receiving payments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated chemistry queries for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logical reasoning.
- Fact-check chemical reactions, balance equations, and verify the viability and safety of synthetic routes.
- Audit model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations including NMR, IR, and Mass Spec.
- Annotate molecular data by identifying and correcting errors in SMILES strings, 2D/3D representations, and property predictions.
- Monitor AI outputs to ensure instructions for hazardous, illicit, or restricted substances are not provided.
