Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field.
- Professional experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
- Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
- Understanding of chemical safety protocols, GHS standards, and regulatory requirements such as EPA, REACH, and FDA.
- Ability to identify errors in complex IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
- Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.
- Must be prepared to complete tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work.
- Must possess a PayPal account to receive payments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated responses to advanced chemistry queries for factual accuracy and logical reasoning.
- Validate AI-generated chemical reactions, balancing equations and ensuring synthetic routes are viable and safe.
- Audit technical documentation including lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations like NMR and IR.
- Annotate molecular data including correcting errors in SMILES strings and 2D/3D molecular representations.
- Monitor AI outputs to ensure they do not provide instructions for hazardous or illicit substance synthesis.
