Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field.
  • Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
  • Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
  • Thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements like EPA, REACH, and FDA.
  • Ability to identify errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
  • Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.
  • Must be prepared to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work.
  • Possession of a PayPal account to receive payment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated chemistry model responses for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logical reasoning.
  • Fact-check chemical reactions and formulas, including validating balancing equations and synthetic routes.
  • Audit model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations like NMR, IR, and Mass Spec.
  • Annotate molecular data by identifying and correcting errors in SMILES strings, molecular representations, and property predictions.
  • Monitor AI outputs to ensure they do not provide instructions for the synthesis of hazardous, illicit, or restricted substances.
