Requirements

  • Demonstrated familiarity with legal administrative processes and terminology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, LEAP, Actionstep).
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to lawyers and legal teams, including managing calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft, review, and format legal correspondence and administrative documents with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Manage email inboxes, flagging high-priority items and ensuring timely responses.
  • Organize and maintain confidential legal files and case documents, ensuring data security and compliance with legal privacy standards.
  • Coordinate billing, timekeeping, and expense reporting activities.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients, external parties, and internal legal teams.
  • Support virtual meeting logistics including agenda creation, minute taking, and task follow-ups.
  • Assist with onboarding and workflow setup for new legal team members.
