Requirements
- Proven experience building Docker images and creating Kubernetes deployments.
- Proficiency in defining Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
- Solid knowledge of Go or the ability to quickly acquire it for tool development.
- Strong shell scripting skills (Bash).
- Experience with full software development lifecycles and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Telekom).
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Strong experience debugging network issues in distributed systems.
- Very good English language proficiency (minimum C1 level).
- German language skills are considered an asset.
- Nice to have: Experience with Open Telekom Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Design and roll out modern software using GitOps principles.
- Automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) rather than UI-based configuration.
- Develop custom infrastructure tools, CLIs, and Kubernetes operators using Go.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters using tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Debug network issues within distributed systems.
- Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams.
