Requirements
- Active Secret clearance.
- 10+ years relevant experience with BS/BA, 12+ years with AS/AA, 14 years without a degree, 8 years with MS/MA, or 6 years with PhD.
- Must satisfy Foundational Qualification standards via approved industry certification (e.g., A+ or Network+) per DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix.
- Proficiency with configuration management repositories and libraries.
- Experience managing configuration change control and status accounting.
- Ability to facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
- Familiarity with CMDB tools like ServiceNow or iTop.
- Understanding of automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, or Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion) and container orchestration/control (Docker, Helm).
- Knowledge of STIG/SCAP execution and ACAS ingestion.
Responsibilities
- Support configuration management processes for MODES III systems, ensuring configuration items are identified, baselined, and controlled.
- Maintain configuration management repositories, libraries, and version control mechanisms for technical and program artifacts.
- Support configuration change control activities, including documentation, tracking, and coordination of configuration change requests.
- Assist with configuration audits, reviews, and status accounting to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with established baselines.
- Serve as Configuration Control Board (CCB) Secretariat, coordinating agenda preparation, change request documentation, and meeting facilitation.
- Manage the Request for Change (RFC) lifecycle from submission through approval, implementation, and closure.
- Establish and maintain configuration baselines for system releases, ensuring integrity through formal change control processes.
