Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience if not holding a degree.
- 1 year of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in Insurance, Financial Services, or Operations Consulting.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with Business Objects, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting fact-based analyses.
- Ability to work in Central or Eastern time zones.
- Strong, independent critical thinking skills.
- Experience with SQL or SAS (preferred).
- Master’s degree or 12 years of relevant experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Support end-user reporting requirements gathering and analysis.
- Administer weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards and reports.
- Identify and support opportunities for automated workflows.
- Design, develop, test, and validate new reports, dashboards, and processes.
- Support the enhancement of reporting capabilities across tools including Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and data mapping/design.
- Collect and analyze data from warehouse universes and databases.
- Execute and maintain basic financial and forecasting models.
- Provide ad hoc analyses to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
