- Ability to operate independently and own your pipeline from first contact through close
- Deep understanding of procurement processes, RFP cycles, and legislative dynamics
- Strong strategic thinking skills to align value propositions to political and programmatic priorities
- CRM discipline and forecasting rigor
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle government sales within your territory
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder, 12+ month sales cycles
- Build relationships with legislators, agency leaders, and executive administration stakeholders
- Develop territory strategies aligned to legislative, budget, and election cycles
- Lead RFP responses and procurement processes
- Travel approximately 40% of the time to maintain relationships
