Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable data lakes and warehouses on GCP.
- Experience in designing enterprise-grade cloud solutions and leading customer projects.
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in BigQuery and Snowflake.
- Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
- English proficiency at B2 or C1 level.
- Willingness to travel within the EU/Germany approx. 1-2 times every two months.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key guide for strategic customers in leveraging Google Cloud Platform for their data needs.
- Provide expertise across the entire data lifecycle: ingestion, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Oversee data migration and transformation projects, specifically migrating from Snowflake to BigQuery.
- Design and implement large-scale, scalable data processing systems and pipelines (streaming and batch).
- Support Google Cloud product implementations in collaboration with the engineering team.
