Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, automation, or systems work
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs in production environments
- Solid understanding of Git workflows, code reviews, and collaborative development practices
- Experience working across the full SDLC in agile or Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical teams
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-evolving technical environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to define requirements and deliver end-to-end backend features
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain distributed systems and RESTful services
- Improve existing systems by identifying performance bottlenecks, bugs, and architectural inefficiencies
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented Python-based services and APIs
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and system-level issue resolution
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team technical growth
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure system reliability
- Engage in innovation initiatives such as hackathons and experimental development
