Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in software industry (consultant, architect, developer, or solution designer).
- 2+ years as a Technical Product Manager or similar.
- Proven experience with ERP Finance products or large-scale financial systems.
- Strong understanding of ERP Finance concepts (GL, AP/AR, budgeting, audit, non-profit workflows).
- Experience designing scalable, secure backend systems.
- API and integration design experience (REST, event-driven).
- Data modeling experience for financial systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable).
- Experience with audit logging and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Own product and technical design for core Sparkrock Finance capabilities.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to translate finance business needs into requirements.
- Design scalable, secure, and compliant financial solutions.
- Work closely with engineering, QA, and customer success.
- Produce detailed functional and technical specifications and diagrams.
- Evaluate trade-offs regarding accounting correctness, performance, and auditability.
- Ensure features are production-ready with clear rollout plans.
