Requirements
- Significant hands‑on experience (5+ years) in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure or Software Engineering roles.
- Any cloud background, including Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Expert scripting experience, ideally PowerShell, with Bash also considered.
- Strong experience with container orchestration.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code approaches.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, secure development lifecycle practices, cryptography and vulnerability management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and balance reliability, security, velocity and cost.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate highly available SaaS platforms, supporting cloud migration, containerisation using Kubernetes and Docker, and modern PaaS and IaaS architectures.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation tooling to standardise, secure and scale deployments.
- Partner with Product, Engineering and Architecture teams to deliver secure, cost‑effective cloud platforms aligned to business goals.
- Lead and support platform operations, including incident management, observability, patching, upgrades and continuous service improvement.
- Embed security and compliance best practices across the platform, including OWASP methodologies, ISO27001 and SOC2 controls.
- Contribute to ongoing innovation and operational excellence by improving processes, documentation and platform standards.
