Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise in compute, virtualization (e.g., VMware), and storage platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in storage systems (block, file, NAS, object/S3-compatible).
- Experience with enterprise data protection (e.g., Pure Storage, Cohesity, Qumulo).
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Proven experience with IaC and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals in hybrid environments.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-environment setups and cloud integration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex production incidents.
- Experience with on-call rotations and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across compute, storage, networking, Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions with a focus on automation and reliability.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and PowerShell.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and reduce manual operational toil.
- Partner with cloud, security, and application teams for hybrid infrastructure design.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
- Define engineering standards and mentor engineers.
- Adopt AI-enabled and agent-based automation techniques.
