Requirements
- Master's degree in business, education, or related field.
- Five years of educational experience.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- State License as a School Administrator.
- Demonstrable leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and web technologies.
- Experience as an online or virtual educator.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
- Ability to clear a background check.
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates educational, administrative, and counseling activities.
- Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards.
- Researches and implements curriculum resources that meet state standards.
- Manages teaching and administrative staff, including Master and Lead Teachers.
- Articulates the school’s mission and vision to stakeholders.
- Confers with teachers, students, and parents regarding educational and behavioral issues.
- Coordinates with enrollment teams regarding student expulsions and withdrawals.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including special education requirements.
- Develops and oversees the school’s Academic Improvement Plan.
