Requirements

  • Five years of educational experience.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • State License as a School Administrator.
  • Demonstrable leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and web technologies.
  • Experience as an online or virtual educator.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Ability to clear a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates educational, administrative, and counseling activities.
  • Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards.
  • Researches and implements curriculum resources that meet state standards.
  • Manages teaching and administrative staff, including Master and Lead Teachers.
  • Articulates the school’s mission and vision to stakeholders.
  • Confers with teachers, students, and parents regarding educational and behavioral issues.
  • Coordinates with enrollment teams regarding student expulsions and withdrawals.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including special education requirements.
  • Develops and oversees the school’s Academic Improvement Plan.
