Requirements
- Full registration and licence with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice.
- Minimum of two years post-CCT clinical experience.
- Experience managing patients with obesity and/or type 2 diabetes.
- Experience with GLP-1s and weight management pathways.
- Experience conducting Audio-Visual Consultations (AVCs) in a digital health environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Computer literate with a secure home working environment.
Responsibilities
- Remotely assess and evaluate patient consultations.
- Carry out audits on existing consultations.
- Perform Assisted Prescribe duties.
- Prescribe treatment in accordance with clinical protocols and GMC guidelines.
- Complete accurate clinical notes on patient records.
- Provide patient support via email, phone, or video consultation.
- Engage in regular team meetings and mandatory training.
- Provide professional correspondence to other healthcare professionals in the UK.
