Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solution architecture, or cloud engineering roles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating solutions on AWS in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services including compute, storage, networking, serverless, and integration architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Proven experience implementing secure cloud architectures with IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership experience mentoring engineers and guiding architecture across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native SaaS architectures on AWS.
  • Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns.
  • Create and govern architectural blueprints covering infrastructure, application design, and data flow across systems.
  • Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks, including guardrails, policies, and architectural principles.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and related frameworks.
  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, and modern CI/CD practices to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Architect cloud security solutions including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and secure application design.
  • Develop observability strategies using monitoring and logging tools to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead technical governance reviews, mentor engineering teams, and guide architectural decision-making across projects.
