Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent higher education) in Information Technology or related fields
- Proven experience as a Mid-Level Test Analyst (Analista de Testes Pleno) in agile environments
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and QA best practices
- Ability to interpret system behavior and build structured mental models of applications
- Experience with both manual testing and exposure to test automation practices
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and agile development workflows
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- At least one software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB, QAI, ALATS, IBQTS, or IIST)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional development and product teams
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain functional and exploratory test cases to validate software behavior and requirements
- Analyze application architecture and build a mental model of system behavior to identify risks and edge cases
- Collaborate with development and product teams in agile ceremonies to ensure quality is embedded throughout the lifecycle
- Perform manual and automated testing activities, contributing to test automation when applicable
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams for resolution
- Support regression testing cycles to ensure system stability across releases
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Validate system performance and reliability from a user and technical perspective
- Ensure software quality aligns with business requirements and technical specifications
