Requirements
- Master’s degree in a mental health-related field (e.g., Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline).
- Maintain a valid and active permit to practice psychotherapy in the province of Quebec or Ontario (e.g., OPQ, OTSTCFQ, CRPO).
- Possess appropriate and up-to-date professional malpractice insurance.
- 3 to 6 years of experience as a registered Psychotherapist.
- Affinity for short-term, goal-oriented therapy.
- Experience with, or comfort in, delivering high-quality care via telemedicine platforms.
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours (up to 32 hours) per week.
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ease with modern computer tools.
- Bilingual (French and English).
Responsibilities
- Conduct 50-minute virtual sessions for members with mental health symptoms.
- Follow up with clients to ensure progress in their care path.
- Deliver evidence-based care in a collaborative environment, prioritizing emotional stabilization, safety, and the cultivation of psychological resilience.
- Equip members with practical coping strategies and CBT-based tools.
- Partner closely with internal case managers and clinical teams.
- Maintain a vigilant focus on member safety and follow ethical standards and crisis protocols.
- Contribute to the evolution of care standards.
