Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a mental health-related field (e.g., Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline).
  • Maintain a valid and active permit to practice psychotherapy in the province of Quebec or Ontario (e.g., OPQ, OTSTCFQ, CRPO).
  • Possess appropriate and up-to-date professional malpractice insurance.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a registered Psychotherapist.
  • Affinity for short-term, goal-oriented therapy.
  • Experience with, or comfort in, delivering high-quality care via telemedicine platforms.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours (up to 32 hours) per week.
  • Flexible availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ease with modern computer tools.
  • Bilingual (French and English).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 50-minute virtual sessions for members with mental health symptoms.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure progress in their care path.
  • Deliver evidence-based care in a collaborative environment, prioritizing emotional stabilization, safety, and the cultivation of psychological resilience.
  • Equip members with practical coping strategies and CBT-based tools.
  • Partner closely with internal case managers and clinical teams.
  • Maintain a vigilant focus on member safety and follow ethical standards and crisis protocols.
  • Contribute to the evolution of care standards.
