Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend, platform, infrastructure, or data-intensive software engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Rust, or similar backend languages.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data processing architectures.
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex, ambiguous problems from design to production.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with experience diagnosing production system issues.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, event-driven systems, and scalable data architectures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and product teams.
- Experience with machine learning or AI data infrastructure is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core data platform services including APIs, ingestion pipelines, internal tools, and customer-facing data products.
- Develop and operate distributed systems that integrate data sources, infrastructure, and AI-driven applications at scale.
- Build robust data processing systems capable of handling messy, incomplete, and evolving real-world datasets.
- Manage cloud-native infrastructure and deployment systems across environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, performance, and developer experience across engineering workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product, research, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that support long-term scalability and maintainability of the data platform.
