Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA or CPA (strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- 3+ years in leadership experience
- Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards
- Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail (preferred)
- Collaborative mindset and executive influence skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, audit-ready financials by the 20th of each month
- Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Develop automated systems and workflows
- Implement initiatives that increase profitability and improve EBITDA
- Create and document SOPs for financial processes
- Implement new systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing
- Produce financial dashboards and KPIs
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations
- Evaluate technology solutions to prepare for scale
