Job Details

Requirements

Active and verifiable Virginia counseling licenses of LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LSATP or LPC Resident
Must hold license in state of residence if different from Virginia
Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Proficient with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
Passionate about supporting individuals in recovery
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet

Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and determine appropriate level of care
Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum
Provide crisis support and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
Collaborate with clinical supervisors on individualized treatment and discharge planning
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state regulations
