Requirements

- Backend experience in Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
- Proven track record of building and shipping customer-facing web applications at scale.
- Fluent in API design and documentation principles.
- Experience in an AI-first approach leveraging LLMs as productivity multipliers.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Adaptability to startup or growth-stage, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Co-own the DevEx vision and strategy with the Product Manager.
- Lead a team of five engineers building web applications.
- Own the technical architecture for the dashboard, docs, marketing site, and billing UI.
- Foster a product-first, ownership-driven engineering culture.
- Champion AI-assisted development to accelerate engineering velocity.
- Enforce high standards for code review, testing, and production readiness.
- Manage performance, career growth, and hiring for the team.
- Participate in incident response and coordinate with the Infrastructure team.
