Requirements
- 8-12+ years in cloud or FinOps roles.
- 5+ years personally owning Azure cost governance at scale.
- 3+ years hands-on AWS cost ownership.
- Experience with AWS CUR, Cost Explorer, and Organizations consolidated billing.
- Working proficiency with GCP billing exports and BigQuery cost queries.
- Proven experience building and maintaining resilient cost dashboards and data pipelines.
- Track record of driving engineering teams to implement preventive cost controls.
- Demonstrated ability to detect and resolve real-world cloud cost leaks.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Own total cloud spends across Azure, AWS, and GCP for all tenants and projects.
- Maintain a single source of truth for spend classification and real-time visibility.
- Implement monitoring and anomaly detection to meet a 24-hour detection SLO.
- Perform incident ownership and RCA for cost anomalies.
- Ensure platform and cloud cost integrity by reconciling deletion status across providers.
- Manage end-to-end cost data pipelines including Partner Center, CUR, and BigQuery.
- Identify and drive refund, credit, and recovery scenarios.
- Execute forecasting, rightsizing, and commitment-based savings strategies.
