Requirements
- Minimum of three years shipping real-time rendering projects
- Extensive experience in at least one GPU API (Vulkan, DirectX, OpenGL)
- Deep understanding of GPU performance and optimization
- Experience with instrumentation and tracing tools like NSight, Tracy, or Renderdoc
- Proficient in C++ or Rust
- Proficient in at least one shading language (GLSL, HLSL, WGSL)
- Experience creating and working within interactive 3D environments
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core rendering technology for simulating cameras, LiDARs, and RADARs
- Mix traditional real-time rendering with neural rendering, 3D Gaussian Splatting, and generative models
- Collaborate with Waabi’s autonomy and safety teams to improve the realism and diversity of Waabi World
- Build cutting-edge multi-sensor simulation stack
- Publish high-impact research at top conferences
