Requirements

  • Minimum of three years shipping real-time rendering projects
  • Extensive experience in at least one GPU API (Vulkan, DirectX, OpenGL)
  • Deep understanding of GPU performance and optimization
  • Experience with instrumentation and tracing tools like NSight, Tracy, or Renderdoc
  • Proficient in C++ or Rust
  • Proficient in at least one shading language (GLSL, HLSL, WGSL)
  • Experience creating and working within interactive 3D environments

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core rendering technology for simulating cameras, LiDARs, and RADARs
  • Mix traditional real-time rendering with neural rendering, 3D Gaussian Splatting, and generative models
  • Collaborate with Waabi’s autonomy and safety teams to improve the realism and diversity of Waabi World
  • Build cutting-edge multi-sensor simulation stack
  • Publish high-impact research at top conferences
