Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience in mechanical, electrical, controls, or critical infrastructure systems.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mission-critical or large-scale building systems.
- Prior commissioning or project management responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, construction methodologies, and MEP systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Capability in documentation, reporting, scheduling, and data organization.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full commissioning lifecycle activities including kickoff, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, design reviews, functional testing, and project closeout.
- Develop and maintain commissioning plans, test procedures, and detailed schedules.
- Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure successful startup, cutover, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Monitor project financials including budgets, margins, forecasting, and change orders.
- Lead client and stakeholder engagement through meetings, reporting, and presentations.
- Support on-site commissioning activities such as system validation, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting policy development and process optimization.
