Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Management, or Civil Engineering.
- At least 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Interior Fit-out (ID), Hospitality, or Residential renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of local construction contract forms (SIA/REDAS).
- Strong knowledge of market rates for materials and labor in Singapore.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple small-to-medium scale projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates and feasibility studies for new potential properties and fit-out projects (CapEx).
- Manage the tender process for interior fit-outs and renovation works, including sourcing contractors and analyzing quotes.
- Draft and manage contracts with vendors, main contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and costs, validate progress claims, manage Variation Orders (VOs), and prepare final accounts.
- Collaborate with Design and Projects teams to identify cost-saving opportunities (value engineering).
- Build and maintain a database of reliable contractors and suppliers.
