Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless.
- Expertise in network systems and standards including LAN, WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
- Proficiency with routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
- In-depth knowledge of network security including NGFW, IPS, IPsec VPN, and SSLVPN.
- Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Experience using templates to deploy network architectures with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco.
- Understanding of 802.11 wireless principles, QoS, 802.1X, and SAML/SSO.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve tier 3 network incidents.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Technical certifications such as CCNP, NSE4-6, PCNSE, or AZ-700 are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform strategic planning and operational needs analysis with clients.
- Deliver project commitments and participate in daily task execution.
- Design and implement network architectures.
- Conduct assessments to improve network efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Design and build out cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, Google).
- Install site network equipment including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop standard operating procedures.
- Ensure security compliance with NIST, ISO, SOC, HIPAA, and PCI DSS standards.
- Prepare comprehensive network documentation and cabling layouts.
- Mentor team members on technical issues.
