Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, HR, or related people operations roles (or recent graduate with strong interest in recruiting)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings and supporting group collaboration activities
  • Interest in civic engagement, democracy, or mission-driven nonprofit work

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day recruiting tasks, processes, and team priorities across the Talent Acquisition function
  • Lead and facilitate recurring recruiting team meetings, ensuring alignment and follow-up on action items
  • Support onboarding and engagement activities for new volunteers and recruiting contributors
  • Track and report hiring metrics and recruiting activity across teams to maintain visibility and progress monitoring
  • Assist with hosting and supporting introductory webinars, including attendee tracking and Q&A support
  • Provide guidance and operational support to recruiters and talent acquisition volunteers as needed
  • Contribute to ongoing recruiting projects and process improvements within a distributed team environment
