Requirements

  • Expertise in LGBTQ+ youth mental health and suicidology.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis of survey data.
  • Strong ability to distill complex information into compelling, digestible narratives.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and mentorship.
  • Proven skill in presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative analyses of national cross-sectional and longitudinal surveys on LGBTQ+ youth mental health.
  • Co-author manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and mass consumption reports.
  • Present research findings to internal groups, external partners, conferences, and the media.
  • Contribute to survey design to inform advocacy and knowledge of LGBTQ+ youth needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data-informed initiatives.
  • Identify and share new relevant research on suicide prevention and crisis services.
