Requirements
- PhD or equivalent degree.
- Track record of publishing peer-reviewed research on LGBTQ+ young people.
- Expertise in LGBTQ+ youth mental health and suicidology.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis of survey data.
- Strong ability to distill complex information into compelling, digestible narratives.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and mentorship.
- Proven skill in presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight timelines.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analyses of national cross-sectional and longitudinal surveys on LGBTQ+ youth mental health.
- Co-author manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and mass consumption reports.
- Present research findings to internal groups, external partners, conferences, and the media.
- Contribute to survey design to inform advocacy and knowledge of LGBTQ+ youth needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data-informed initiatives.
- Identify and share new relevant research on suicide prevention and crisis services.
