Requirements

2+ years experience as a software engineer in aerospace, defense, space, or manufacturing.
Real-world experience with Python; secondary proficiency in TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with scripting APIs of engineering tools like Autodesk Fusion 360, ANSYS, NASTRAN, or SolidWorks.
Knowledge of aerospace-grade materials and their design limits.
Ability to interpret and apply GD&T and NASA/aerospace engineering standards.
Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture, and infrastructure as code.
Experience with API design, system integration, and containerization.
Deep understanding of LLM internals, prompt engineering, and structured output.
Ability to design and implement evaluation strategies for complex LLM/agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

Design and implement agentic frameworks for coordinating specialized engineering agents.
Develop automated CAE & FEA workflows for autonomous design validation.
Build RAG pipelines for engineering knowledge retrieval and natural language processing.
Create programmatic guardrails based on physics constraints, NASA standards, and aerospace load cases.
Connect AI agents to CAD, FEA, and CAM software via MCP and custom API integrations.
Deploy and scale AI workloads across cloud infrastructure using containerization and IaC.
Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, design quality, and reliability.
Perform human-in-the-loop validation of AI-generated structural designs.
