Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a software engineer in aerospace, defense, space, or manufacturing.
- Real-world experience with Python; secondary proficiency in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with scripting APIs of engineering tools like Autodesk Fusion 360, ANSYS, NASTRAN, or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of aerospace-grade materials and their design limits.
- Ability to interpret and apply GD&T and NASA/aerospace engineering standards.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with API design, system integration, and containerization.
- Deep understanding of LLM internals, prompt engineering, and structured output.
- Ability to design and implement evaluation strategies for complex LLM/agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement agentic frameworks for coordinating specialized engineering agents.
- Develop automated CAE & FEA workflows for autonomous design validation.
- Build RAG pipelines for engineering knowledge retrieval and natural language processing.
- Create programmatic guardrails based on physics constraints, NASA standards, and aerospace load cases.
- Connect AI agents to CAD, FEA, and CAM software via MCP and custom API integrations.
- Deploy and scale AI workloads across cloud infrastructure using containerization and IaC.
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, design quality, and reliability.
- Perform human-in-the-loop validation of AI-generated structural designs.
