Requirements
- Advanced degree in a clinical specialty (MD, PhD, PharmD).
- 2+ years of MSL experience.
- Strong experience in rare diseases.
- Fluent in Japanese.
- Intermediate level English for scientific reading and internal communication.
- Proven experience in presenting clinical/scientific information.
- Expert understanding of the local Japanese healthcare delivery system.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage own work and territory.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional manner.
Responsibilities
- Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and maintain scientific relationships with them.
- Act as a primary liaison to investigators for evidence generation projects.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with country-level objectives.
- Provide clinical presentations to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with clinical operations to enhance patient enrollment in trials.
- Support the development of scientific content and communications.
- Provide medical insights to internal stakeholders.
- Mentor junior MSLs and provide guidance on best practices.
