Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship
- Board-eligible in Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Commitment to obtain ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of hire
- Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
- Commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
- Technical proficiency with EMR systems, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standards of care
- Complete required training(s) and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
- Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks with clarity and care
- Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week
