Requirements
- 6+ years experience as a Software, Data or DevOps Engineer
- 3+ years experience with AWS
- Experience building enterprise scale applications with Kubernetes and Helm charts
- Experience building and operating Kubernetes via EKS in AWS
- Deep Linux proficiency with hands-on node/kernel level incident resolution
- Experience with GitOps / Infrastructure-as-code (Cloudformation, Terraform, CDK)
- Experience with build and deployment automation (Harness, GitLab, Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, etc.)
- AWS Associate-level certification (required within 12 months of start)
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical major or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the software and data product development lifecycle
- Improve quality by actively participating in code-reviews and adhering to team quality standards
- Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and apply best practices
- Own the execution of medium-to-large sized features
- Describe and document work for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build with an eye towards long-term maintainability and efficiency
- Provide feasibility, complexity, and cost estimates to clients
